Independent United Nations Watch called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to make sure that the Council is not used for political bulling and lobbying. IUNW wrote to Joaquín Alexander Maza Martelli, President of the Human Rights Council, Eleventh Cycle (2017) resulting to have proper inviting mechanism for all NGOs accessing the Council.

IUNW call on member states to make the 36th session an opportunity to solve the World’s crisis.

The organization added that the HRC is being used negatively by some member states whey they employ NGOs to bully member states.

HRC has been used lately by different member states as venue for political bullying to record points against each other.
